We scour the digital planet to locate and permission the most relevant news stories, images, audio clips, videos, and infographics to enhance your syllabus.

When needed, Soomo’s team of creative instructional designers works with our internal multimedia department to create Soomo original videos and documentaries, audio, images, infographics, and other content to ensure that key points are well supported by diverse content.

Our content works on all browsers, any operating system, and on mobile devices with Internet access and a browser.

Soomo’s webtexts are assignment-based environments designed to prompt students to think in unique ways. On average, students interact at least once for every five minutes they spend with content. Students respond to the material through thought-provoking questions and engage each other through polls, discussions, and response boards. Our multimedia, primary resources, audio, and other content are embedded in the web browser with assessment questions in line to ensure that students take away key points. This high level of interactivity is key to our learning analytics.

Soomo’s learning environment measures student-time on assignment and assessment scores. When students miss the point, you’ll know why. Our easy-to-navigate dashboard provides you with a bird’s eye view of student learning, assignment by assignment. Easily identify students who are at the top of the class, as well as those needing extra attention. Every block in the dashboard reflects the assignment percentage complete. Hovering over any block will provide more detailed information including time spent on assignment, date, and scores.
