Soomo’s Business Statistics webtext ($50 for students) is a self-paced, online course for students who are embarking upon a Master of Business Administration degree. With this in mind, the webtext is designed to support students as they learn new concepts on their own, put their learning into action, and expand on their knowledge in a fast-paced online environment. Business Statistics leverages a unique system to provide each student with exactly the right amount of information and practice.

After reviewing each lesson, students solve problems and check their answers within the webtext’s interface. If the student misses a question, they can “Try Again” with a similar exercise. If they still need help, there are three built-in support systems:

1. “Show Me” provides a complete solution for students to study.
2. “Your Turn” walks students through the complete solution step by step, allowing them to determine each intermediate answer as they move through the problem to the final solution.
3. “Hint” reminds students of a principle or formula that will help them solve the problem on their own.

Once students have arrived at their final answer, they save their answer for instructor review. The answer will be time-stamped, saved in their webtext, and immediately marked as correct or incorrect. This information will be saved inside the student’s Digital Notebook, which organizes and keeps track of student work for review and revisiting.
